Germina da Christo (Albano) Pacheco, 92, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, at Southpointe Rehabilitation, in Fall River, surrounded by her family.
She was the widow of the late Manuel P. Pacheco.
Born in Agua de Pau, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Eugenio Pereira Albano and Diamantina (Furtado) Albano.
Germina was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy came from caring for her family and creating a warm, loving home. She had a deep passion for cooking, often preparing delicious meals for family gatherings, where her welcoming spirit shone through. Whether she was sewing or embroidering, her hands were always busy, crafting thoughtful gifts or adding a personal touch to her home. She found peace in tending to her garden, where her flowers flourished as brightly as her smile. Music was a constant companion in her life, and her love for it was as enduring as her affection for her loved ones. Above all, Germina's family was her heart and soul, and she cherished every moment spent with them, always radiating love and kindness to those fortunate enough to know her.
Germina is survived by her children Luis Pacheco (wife Cathy), Maria do Ceu Barroso (husband Octavio), Carlos Pacheco (wife Maria), Angel Gomes (husband Tony), Teresa Willey (husband Greg), Lucy Resendes (husband Humberto), and Paul Pacheco (wife Debra); her brother Fernando Pereira; her grandchildren Christine Pacheco, Derek Barroso, Kimberly Martins, Jason Pacheco, Cassandra Mello, Gary Tetrault, Jeffery Tetrault, Cindy Gouveia, Scott Tetrault, Kayla DeAlmeida, Justin Resendes, Bianca Pacheco, and Dylan Pacheco; many great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter Addison Grinvalsky, and several nieces and nephews.
