Gerard R. Beliveau

Gerard R. "Jerry" Beliveau, 81, of Fall River, died Wednesday at home. He was the husband of the late Theresa (Botelho) Beliveau.

Born in Fall River, a son of the late Rodolphe and Rhea (Vallaincourt) Beliveau, he resided in Fall River for most of his life, previously living in Tiverton for 10 years.

A veteran of the United States Air Force he served during the Korean War.

Mr. Beliveau worked as a welder and sheet metal worker in the local area for many years. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Worker's Union #501.

He is survived by a son, Michael A. Beliveau of Fall River, 5 grandchildren, Theresa, Jenna, Katherine, Jessica and Tommy, a niece, Mikki Morris and a nephew, Gary Kennedy. He was the brother of the late Bernice Kennedy and uncle of the late Denise Kennedy.

Private Funeral arrangements are by the Oliveira Funeral Home 215 Columbia St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
