Frank P. Souza

Frank P. Souza, 90, of 39 Linda Rd., Tiverton, RI, died Thursday at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Albertina "Abbie" (Henrigues) Souza.

Born in Tiverton, RI, he was a son of the late Joseph P. and Rose (Ferreira) Souza; he was a lifelong resident of Tiverton. He was a avid gardener. He was a member of the former Ponta Delgada Club.

Mr. Souza worked as a custodian for the Town of Tiverton for many years. He previously worked for the RI Highway Department and was a quahog fisherman.

He is survived by a daughter, Rosemarie Talbot of Starks, ME; two sisters, Louise Mulcahy and Anne Turcotte, both of Tiverton; two brothers, Antone Souza of Little Compton, RI and John Souza of Portsmouth, RI; three grandchildren, Kyle, Todd and Shelley; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Souza, Manuel "Jake" Souza, Alfred "Fred" Souza, Emily Souza and Mary Pinheiro.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Monday at 10 a.m. in Pocasset Hill Cemetery. Tiverton. Calling hours are omitted. Arrangements are by the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St.
