Francisco Soares

Francisco M. Soares, 65, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at home, surrounded by his family.

    Born in Sao Roque, St. Michael Azores, he was a son of the late Jose Soares and Jardelina Carreiro.

    Prior to retiring, Francisco worked as a mason in the construction industry, for the majority of his career. He was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church and was an avid soccer fan, with his favorite team being FC Porto.

    He is survived by his children Tiago Soares, Sandra Soares, and Beatrice Soares; his siblings Lucia Cabral, Nelson Soares, Lizette Sousa, Jose Luis Soares, Manuel Soares, Rui Soares, and Sandra Soares; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

    Francisco's Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., Fall River. Please meet directly at church.
