Frances M. Aguiar

Frances M. (Khoury) Aguiar, 81, of Wilbur Ave., Somerset, MA, died Thursday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Antone R. Aguiar.

Born in Swansea, MA, she was a daughter of the late Ameen and Elizabeth (Borack) Khoury; she lived in Fall River since 1972, previously living in Portsmouth, RI. Mrs. Aguiar retired from the former Merit Dress Co. of Fall River and devoted much of her time to raising her children after loosing her husband at a young age.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary E. Vascellaro (husband Jerome) of San Francisco, CA; a son, Anthony Aguiar, Jr. (wife Denise) of Newport, RI; two sisters, Catherine Baker of Fall River and Theresa Spaulding of Texas; a brother, Norman Khoury of Medford, MA; five grandchildren, Angela Aguiar, Jessica Lessin, Anthony Aguiar, Jr., Adam Aguiar and Matthew Vascellaro; a great-grandchild, Ave Green; several nieces and nephews, and several grand nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George, Joseph, Paul and Richard Khoury.
