Florence Catulo

Florence (Souza) Catulo, 96, of Fall River, died Friday at home. She was the wife of the late Manuel Catulo and Antone Rodrigues.

Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Mary (Lawrence) Souza; she resided in Fall River most of her life. Mrs. Catulo was a homemaker and a member of Santo Christo Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Claudio of Fall River and Gilda Furtado of Tiverton, RI; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Florence Imbeault, Raymond Rodrigues and Joseph Rodrigues and the sister of the late Frank Souza, Joseph Souza, Dorothy Avery, Elsie Azverdo, Mamie Machado and Sarah Machado.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 4 - 7 p.m.
