Fernando M. Cabral

FALL RIVER... Fernando M. Cabral, 56, of Fall River passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at St. Anne’s Hospital, in Fall River.

He was the husband of Ana Lucia (Borges) Cabral, to whom he has been married to since 1991.

Fernando was born in Feteiras, St. Michael, Azores, a son of Maria Adriana (Reis Tavares) and the late Duarte Manuel Cabral.

Mr. Cabral worked as a baker and truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and grilling. He also enjoyed scrolling through Facebook and connecting with his friend on Messenger and watching western television shows. He loved to travel and go on trips. But his favorite thing to do was spend time with family and loved ones, especially his wife.

Along with his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters: Justine and Ciera Marie Cabral, both of Fall River; his brother: James Cabral, of Fall River; his sisters: Esmeralda Cabral, of Swansea, Margaret Jesus, of Dartmouth, and Natalie Carreiro, of Fall River; several nephews and a niece.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 8:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St, Fall River, MA 02721 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Santo Christo Parish, Columbia St, Fall River. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday morning from 8:30 - 9:30 AM, prior to the service.
