Fernanda do Espirito Santo Coutinho

Fernanda do Espirito Santo (Brum) Coutinho, 89, of Westport, MA, died Tuesday at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lucilio Coutinho.

Born in Rabo de Peixe, St. Micahel, Azores, a daughter of the late Manuel Tavares Brum and Maria da Conceicao (Medeiros) Brum; before moving to Westport, she resided in Fall River for 22 years.

Mrs. Coutinho was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing. She was a member of Santo Christo Church.

She is survived by two sons, Altino Coutinho of Westport, MA and Antonio Coutinho of Fall River; two daughters, Margarida Vieira and Filomena De Andrade, both of Fall River; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Abilio Coutinho.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home 215 Columbia St. followed by a Funeral Mass at 8:30 a.m. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5-8 p.m.
