Fabio B. Soares

FALL RIVER…Fabio B. Soares, 43, of Fall River, passed away January 13, 2023, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, in Fall River.

He was the former husband of Naomi Soares.

Born in Terceira, Azores, he was a son of Maria D. (Mendonca) Soares and the late Antonio H. Soares.

Fabio worked with his brother as a general contractor at Soares Construction and was a member of Local #609. He lived a quiet life and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Along with his mother, survivors include his daughters: Alyssa Alice Latinville, of Somerset, and Sadie Lynn Costa, of Swansea; his sisters: Emilia Ferreira (husband Rogerio), of Westport, and Melissa Soares, of Fall River; his brothers: Carlos Soares (wife Michelle), of Fall River, Abilio Soares, of Pennsylvania, and Daniel Soares, of Fall River; several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 24, at 9:00 AM, from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday night, from 4 – 7 PM
