Evelyn (Maris) Ferreira

Our precious mother Evelyn Ferreira, passed away on Sunday March 13, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She devoted her life to her children and family. She was orphaned at a very young age and although she endured many hardships in life, our mom had so much love to give. Her baby blue eyes and beautiful smile along with her angelic voice were infectious to all those around her. Her past activities include the Tiverton Lions Club, VFW Auxiliary, and a member of St. Teresa's Church Choir.

She was the loving wife of the late Daniel Ferreira and leaves behind her children Debbie Waldeck (husband Mike), Bruce Ferreira (late partner Judy Pellitier), Dolly Hess (husband Ron), and Patty Ferreira. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Tricia DiRaimo (partner Bobby Culp), Mike Waldeck(partner Jenn McKenna), Chris Hess (partner Amanda Treadwell), Travis Hess (wife Tonya), her step granddaughters Heather Sheffield and Melissa Frost along with several great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her dog Lovie.

Her funeral will be held Friday, March 18, at 10 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home – South Main St Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church, Stafford Rd, Tiverton. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 - 8  p.m.
