Eulalia Cura

Eulalia (Martins) Cura, of Fall River, passed away Friday, March 28th at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River.

    Born in Sao Roque, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Antonio Batista and Natalia (Soares-Moura) Batista. Prior to retiring, she worked as a CNA in the nursing field. In her free time, she loved watching telenovelas and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

    She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Terra and her husband Roy, of Swansea, and Patricia Cura, also of Swansea; her brother Liberal Batista and wife Niveria; her sister-in-law Georgina Batista; her grandchildren Camron and Madison; several nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her brother, Joaquim Batista.

    A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 8 - 9:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden Street, Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
