Estephania Ferreira

FALL RIVER - Estephania "Fanny" (Medeiros) Ferreira, 88, of Fall River, died Thursday, December 1st at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late George Ferreira.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Estephania (Alves) Medeiros; she was a lifelong resident of Fall River and was a member of the former of St. Louis King Church. She frequented the casinos and the Niagara Senior Center. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards. Mrs. Ferreira worked for several years as a concession clerk at the snack bar in Fall River Government Center, retiring in 1990. She previously worked for many years as a machine operator in the local garment industry.
She is survived by a sister, Rita Franco and her husband Manuel of Fall River; two nieces, Natalie Medeiros and her husband Joseph of Fall River and Stephanie Silva and her husband Kwin of Dartmouth. She was the sister of the late Catherine Rego and James Medeiros.
