Erundina "Dina" Gonsalves

Erundina "Dina" (Dias) Gonsalves, of Milliken Blvd., died Sunday at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late William Gonsalves and the late Antone Rego.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Dias, she was a lifelong resident of this city.

Mrs. Gonsalves worked as a sewing machine operator in the local textile industry for many years.

She was a member of many senior clubs and was an active member of the former St. Elizabeth Church.

She is survived by her son, David Rego (Wife Connie) of Fall River, MA; a step-son, Anthony Gonsalves (Wife Susan) of Fall River, two step-daughters, Verna Gonsalves of Fall River and Lynda McDonald (Husband Raymond) of Attleboro, MA; a sister Hilda Dias of Fall River and a brother, Joseph Dias (Wife Zelie) of Florida; a granddaughter Patricia Rego of NY and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Patricia Ann Rego.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:00 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home 215 Columbia Street followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4 - 8 p.m.
