Emily Medeiros

BOSTON - Emily (Pacheco) Medeiros, 72, of Westport, MA, died Wednesday, August 16th at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of the late Orlando Medeiros.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Luis and Georgina (Da Costa) Pacheco, she lived in Westport for most of her life. Mrs. Medeiros worked as a private caregiver for many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Lynne M. Gauthier of Westport, MA; two sisters, Espirito Pacheco of Swansea, MA and Brazalina Pacheco of Westport, MA; two brothers, Joseph Pacheco of Florida and Luis Pacheco of Assonet, MA; five grandchildren, Nathan, Olivia, Cassandra, Kelly and Kyle; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Steven Medeiros.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, August 26th at 6:45 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 7:45 in Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., Fall River.
