Edward P. Souza

FALL RIVER…Edward P. Souza, age 96, of Fall River passed away at home on August 3, 2017. He was the loving husband of the late Constance (Nobrega) Souza. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Guilhermina (Cambra) and Petronil P. Souza.
He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, having served as Petty Officer G.M. 2nd Class and saw service in the European, Asiatic and Pacific Theaters. He was employed for 32 ½ years as Head Custodian, beginning at the old City Hall and ending at the Fall River Government Center. He retired in 1990.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Flaherty and her husband William of Rochester, MA, his grandchildren, Gus and Roslyn and his grand dog Dodge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Mr. Souza's wishes, services were private. Arrangements were entrusted to Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Fall River, MA.
