Edward Moniz

Edward Moniz, 90, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024.

    He was the widower of the late Dorothy A. (Correia) Moniz.

    Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Joseph Moniz and Mary (Sardinia) Moniz.

    Edward worked for most of his career as an electrician in the IBEW Union Local 223, retiring at age 62. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife.

    He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by his siblings Mary Castro, Joseph Moniz, and John Moniz.

    His funeral mass and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
