Earl L. Bieg

Earl L. Bieg, 82, of Fall River, died Tuesday at home. He was the husband of Regina J. (Lopes) Bieg.

Born in Santa Barbara, CA, he was a son of the late Atty. Russell J. Bieg and Marjorie (Skrah) Heinz. He was a U.S. disabled veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Bieg worked as a central office equipment installer for the former New England Tel & Tel Company, now Verizon, for 35 years.

Besides his wife of 57 years, he is survived by two daughters, Cheryl L. Brown (Husband Peter) of Swansea and Robin J. Smith of Ventura, CA; 6 grandchildren, Frank & Alex Bragantin of Swansea, James and Kathleen Gunderson of Ventura, CA and Greta & Anika Bieg of Mashpee, MA; and a daughter-in-law, Sonja Bieg of Mashpee, MA. He was the father of the late Scott D. Bieg.
