Doreen Marie Arruda

Doreen Marie Arruda, 53 of Fall River, passed away December 25th during the early hours of Christmas Morning, in the comfort of her own home.

She leaves behind her grandson Mason Ferris, her companion dog Poochka, her son-in-law Michael Ferris, her daughter Dorn Marie Arruda, namesake of her most beloved sister, by whom she is predeceased, her cousin Jason Primo, nieces and nephews, and all of her friends and loved ones.

She was a caring and generous soul, a dear friend to many, and a kind mother figure to anyone who needed her. Never too shy to give tough love, yet in her own very special, gentle way.

Her fondest hobbies included karaoke, local politics and spending quality time with her one and only grandchild.

She is survived by her mother Carol (Pelletier) Arruda.

She joins her father, William Arruda and her dearest sister Dorn, in Heaven with open arms.

A celebration of life may be held at a later date, after some time to process family grief.
