Donna Ainsworth

PROVIDENCE - Donna (Pimentel) Ainsworth, 59, of Fall River, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond D. and Elena (Bertoncini) Pimentel; she was a lifelong resident of Fall River. She graduated from the former Bishop Gerrard High School in 1976 an earned her Bachelor Degree from the former Southeastern Massachusetts University, (SMU).
She was employed for over 30 years as a medical technologist at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence.
She was a communicant of Good Shepherd Parish.
She is survived by a daughter, Kelly A. Ainsworth and her fiance Joshua of Fall River; her step-mother, Helen Pimentel of Fall River; a sister, Deborah Desjardins of Virginia; a brother, Donald Pimentel of California; a granddaughter, Kyla Stanley of Fall River; a aunt and uncle; several nieces and nephews; cousins and many friends.
Her funeral will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Parish, South Main Street. Committal prayers and interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Road. Calling hours Thursday 4-7 p.m.
