Dolores Cabeceiras

Dolores (Vaz) Cabeceiras, 93, of Swansea, passed away Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, at Southpointe Nursing Center.

    Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Antonio Vaz and Hortense (Rapoza) Vaz.

    Prior to retiring, she worked for most of her career as a stitcher in the local textile industry. In her free time, Dolores enjoyed singing, filling the air with her beautiful voice, and found comfort in reading. Above all, she was deeply devoted to praying for the well-being of her loved ones, always seeking to bring them peace and blessings. Her hobbies reflected her loving heart and strong faith.

    Dolores is survived by her grandchildren Wayne Cabeceiras, Jr., Chad Cabeceiras, and Katie Samways; her great grandchildren Cameren, Madison, Mason, Ava, and Sawyer. She was predeceased by her son Wayne Cabeceiras.

    Her funeral services will be private.
