Diana Costa

FALL RIVER… Diana Costa, 93, of Fall River passed away April 23, 2022 at Sarah Brayton Nursing Center, in Fall River.

She was the loving wife of the late Antonio M. Costa.

Born in Salgueiral, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Jose da Costa Isidoro and Vicencia Rosa da Costa.

Diana worked as a supervisor at Auerbach Bathrobes, for 14 years, before retiring. She was a parishioner of Santo Christo Parish and member of the Santo Christo Senior Group. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter Dina Pires (husband Arthur Tavares), of Somerset; her grandson Jason (wife Bethany); her great grandson Ethan; her siblings Irene Gonsalves and Setelio Isidoro, both of Portugal; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jose Isidoro.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, April 28, at 8:00 AM, from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., Fall River, MA 02721 followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Wednesday night, from 5 – 7 PM.
