Diamentina (Reposa) Perry

TIVERTON… Diamentina (Reposa) Perry, 91, of Tiverton, passed away January 26, 2022, at home, surrounded by her family.

She was the widow of the late Raymond T. Perry.

Diamentina was born in Portsmouth, RI, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Reposa and stepmother, “Tia.”

Prior to retiring, Mrs. Perry worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Trina Inc., in Fall River, and was a member of the Leather Novelty & Plastics Workers Union. She was also a member of the Ocean State Seniors, the Portsmouth Senior Center, and the Red Hat Society of Rhode Island. Diamond loved to be outside doing yard work, listening to music, dancing, singing, being with her family, and watching her granddaughter’s softball and volleyball games.

She is survived by her sons: Raymond Perry, of Westport, Stephen Perry, of Swansea, Alan Perry, of Berkley, and Robert Perry, of Tiverton; her daughters: Deborah Botelho Matos and Shirley Staskiewicz, both of Tiverton; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral arrangements will be private.
