FALL RIVER…Diamantina (Botelho) Corvello, 93, of Fall River passed away at home on Sunday, July 5, 2020.
She was the wife of Antonio Corvello, to whom she had been married for 73 years.
Mrs. Corvello was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Joseph M. and Diamantina (DaPonte) Botelho and had been a lifelong resident of the city.
Diamantina was employed as a supervisor at the former Joan Fabric until her retirement in 1990 and was a communicant of Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton, RI.
Along with her husband, survivors include her sons: Alfred Corvello of East Taunton, David Corvello of Swansea, a daughter Cynthia Borges of Fall River, a sister Cecilia Mello of Fall River, 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 siblings.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday at 9:30 A.M. at the Oliveira Funeral Home – South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton, RI. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be Thursday, prior to the service, from 8:30 – 9:30 A.M.
