Dennis L. Edwards

FALL RIVER... Dennis L. Edwards, 71, of Fall River passed away November 1, 2018 at Catholic Memorial Home.
He was the husband of Margaret (Furtado) Edwards.
Born in Oklahoma City, OK, he was a son of the late Jack and Winnie (Reeves) Edwards.
Mr. Edwards was a Veteran of the United States Navy, service during the Vietnam War. He had worked as a Plumber for Superior Plumbing prior to his retirement.
Along with his wife, survivors include his children: Dennis Edwards, Susan Trahan, Kimberly Edwards, Tricia Edwards, Melissa Edwards and Lisa Edwards, all of Oklahoma City, OK; his step children: Roland Bettencourt of Oklahoma City, OK, Richard Leandro of Tiverton, David Leandro of Westport, Charlotte Richards of Oklahoma City, OK, Cheryl Branco and Dawn Leandro, both of Fall River; his siblings: Charles Edwards, Leroy Edwards, Freida L. Dawkins & Patricia A. Reed, all of Oklahoma City, OK and Connie S. Johnson of Spencer, OK; 26 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Billy R. Edwards, Jacqueline Hill, Doris J. Kusler and Paula R. Edwards.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11 AM at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne, MA.
