Delores Brilhante, 88, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. Anne’s Hospital, in Fall River.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Brilhante and Deolinda (Rapoza) Brilhante.
Prior to retiring, she was employed as a floor lady at the former Fall River Manufacturing and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church and enjoyed doing puzzles and crossword puzzles, especially those in the National Enquirer and Woman’s Day magazines.
Survivors include her six siblings: Isaura Aguiar, of Fall River, Maurine Brilhante, of Fall River, Pauline Luciano, of Fall River, Natalie Briand (husband Leo), of Somerset, Hilda Ferry, of Fall River, and William Brilhante, of Fall River; several nieces and nephews. She was also a sister of the late Lillian Rivest, Georgina Martin, Manuel Brilhante, and Daniel Brilhante.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, February 8, at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 - 8 p.m.
