Debra Anne "Debbie" Lelievre, 52, of Fall River, died Friday at St. Anne's Hospital.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of Wilfred E. Lelievre of Fall River and the late Dorothy (Souza) Lelievre; she was a lifelong resident of Fall River and was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. She was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, class of 1976 and received her Paralegal Certificate from Bristol Community College. In her youth, she played softball, baseball and basketball.
She was last employed by Bristol Associates Insurance. She previously was employed for 6 years as a office manager by Carolyn Burton Ins. Agency and for 11 years by Thompson, Reed & Boyce Law Firm. She was a former Notary Public.
Besides her father, she is survived by two aunts, Viola Kadlec and Laurene Jamiel, both of Fall River; an uncle, George Lelievre (Wife Helen) of Somers, CT; several cousins; many good friends. She was the sister of the late Wilfred E. Lelievre, Jr.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Parish. Committal prayers and interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Flowers welcome or memorial contributions may be made in her memory to SSTAR, 386 Stanley St., Fall River, MA 02720.
