Carlos M. Pereira

FALL RIVER… Carlos M. Pereira, 68, of Fall River, passed away Thursday October 5, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family.

He was the loving husband of Ana (Resendes) Pereira, to whom he had been married to for 38 years.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel Pereira and Maria L. (Matos) Pereira.

Mr. Pereira had worked for many years as an assembler at American Lighting, in Providence, and prior at Tower Manufacturing. He was a communicant of Espirito Santo Church and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Along with his wife, survivors include his two children: Kimberly Pereira and Matthew Pereira (spouse Brenda), both of Fall River; his siblings: Jose Antone Pereira, Conceicao Furtado, and Diamantina Botelho; his grandchildren: Zoie, Khloe, and Luna; several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 9 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, MA 02724 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. Fall River. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday night, from 6 – 8 PM.
