Betty A. Raymondo

Betty A. (Vierling) Raymondo, 70, of Fall River, died Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of 51 years to Dennis Raymondo, Jr.

Born in Newport, RI, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Lillian (Paradise) Vierling; she resided in Fall River for most of her life.

Mrs. Raymondo worked as parent aide and later as a teacher's aide for the Fall River School Department.

She adored and enjoyed spending time with her family watching her grandchildren's activities and frequent trips to the casino with her husband. She was loved by all who came into contact with her.

Besides her husband of 51 years, she is survived by a daughter, Karen Belmore (Husband Rick) of Fall River; two sons, Mike Raymondo (Wife Susan) of Fall River and Scott Raymondo (Wife Stella) of Swansea, MA; two brothers, James Vierling and Bruce Vierling, both of Tiverton, RI; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Makenzie, Maylin, Michael and Madison; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church. Cremation to follow. Visitation prior to funeral 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
