Betty Lou Dias

TIVERTON… Betty Lou (Buchanan) Dias, 74, of Tiverton passed away November 17, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of Ronald A. Dias of Tiverton.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Lynwood and Mary (Pavao) Buchanan.
Along with her husband, survivors include her daughter, Christine Rego of Tiverton, her son, David Boyd of SC, 2 grandchildren, Tyler Rego and Lindsey Rae Rego, her sisters, Judy Rebello of Somerset and Linda Velozo of Fall River, her step-son, Ronald Dias, Jr., her step-daughter, Christine Martin, 3 step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Doreen, Deborah, Robert and Stephen Buchanan.
She was her grandson's biggest fan, greatest admirer of her granddaughter's art, and her children's hero.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 10:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St. Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Good Shepherd Parish, 1598 South Main St. Fall River. Interment will be in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton. Calling hours will be held Monday from 9-10:30 AM, prior to the funeral.
