Belmira "Mabel" Dutra

Belmira "Mabel" (Amaral) Dutra, of Fall River, died Friday at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frederick Dutra.

Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late John Costa Amaral and Maria (Costa) Pacheco Amaral.

Mrs. Dutra worked as a presser for the former Shelburne Shirt Company for many years.

In her earlier years, she enjoyed fishing trips to Newport with her husband.

She was a member of the former Our Ladies of Angels Church, now Good Shepherd Parish.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Manuel Amaral, Joseph Amaral, John Costa, Antone Amaral, Mary Craviera, Francelina Pimental and Sadie Gregoire Medeiros.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home 2064 South Main Street, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Good Shepherd Parish. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
