Bella M. Brosseau

Bella M. (Lavertue) Brosseau, 94, of 100 Amity St., Fall River, formerly of Island Park, Portsmouth and Phoenix, AZ, passed away Wednesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph Brosseau.

Born in Gorham, NH, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Vincent) Lavertue. Mrs. Brosseau worked at Tremblay's in Island Park as a cook for over 30 years.

She is survived by four daughters, Joanne McQueen of Tolland, CT, Judith Dekart of California, Gloria Sheahan and Debra Richardson, both of Fall River; two sons, Eugene Brosseau of Phoenix, AZ and Donald "Ducky" Brosseau of Island Park, Portsmouth; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Anita Fernandes and Joseph Brousseau, Jr.

Her wake service will be held Monday in the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St. from 5-8 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 7:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
