Beatrice Lang

Beatrice (Furtado) Lang, 86, of Fall River, a retired garment worker, died Wednesday at Southpointe Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Alfred C. Lang.

Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Rebello) Furtado; she was a lifelong resident of Fall River and a communicant of Good Shepherd Parish. Mrs. Lang worked for 20 years as a turner at the former Muriel Frocks of Fall River.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Cordeiro, Joseph Furtado, Lionel "Leo" Furtado, Manuel Furtado and Alice Henriques.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Parish. Committal prayers and interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation morning of funeral from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
