Beatrice M. Barreto

TIVERTON - Beatrice M. (Ferreira) Barreto, 48, of Tiverton, RI, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at home. She was the wife of Carlos A. Barreto.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of Beatrice C. (Mello) Ferreira of Tiverton and the late John J. Ferreira; she lived most of her life in Tiverton. She was a loveable daughter and had a heart of gold. She loved her dogs and cats. She enjoyed music. Beatrice was a talented hairdresser for several years and worked for Dunkin Donuts.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, John C. Barreto of Tiverton; a step-daughter, Jade Barreto of Fall River; a step-son, Jason Barreto of Fall River; three brothers, John Ferreira, David Ferreira and Larry Ferreira, all of Tiverton; four step-grandchildren; and two nieces and four nephews.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St, Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Lake Rd., Tiverton. Cremation to follow. Calling hours Wednesday 5-9 p.m.
