Barbara Ann Ferreira

Barbara Ann (Fernandes) Ferreira, 65, of Fall River, died Saturday unexpectedly at home. She was the former wife of the late Edward T. Ferreira.

Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of Evelyn (Cambra) Fernandes of Fall River and the late Louis Fernandes; she lived most of her life in this city. Mrs. Ferreira retired from Reflek Mfg after many years of employment; having previously worked for the former Aetna Ins. Co. and former Quaker Fabric.

Besides her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Keri Ferreira (fiancé John Barbosa) of Fall River and Jennifer M. Theriault (husband James) of Somerset; a son, Marc Ferreira (wife Jessica) of Fall River; a sister, Linda Smith (husband Brian) of E. Providence, RI; 5 grandchildren, Johnna Bedard (husband Eric), Kalli Tessier, Alysha Ferreira, Mackenzie and Benjamin Theriault; a great-granddaughter, Skyla Bedard; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louis Fernandes.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Cremation to follow.
