Antonio Manuel Leocadio

FALL RIVER…Antonio Manuel Leocadio, 62, of Fall River passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at St. Anne’s Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Cristina (Faria) Leocadio.

Born in Maia, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Fernando D. and Maria DoCarmo (Froes) Leocadio.

Mr. Leocadio worked as a laborer in the asphalt industry and was an avid Benfica fan and enjoyed gardening. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Along with his wife, survivors include his son Christopher F. Leocadio and his daughter Christine L. Teixeira, both of Fall River; his sisters Lucia Leocadio of Ribeira Seca, St. Michael, and Espirito Santo Leocadio of Lombinha Da Maia, St. Michael; his granddaughters Alexia Lopes and Sophia Lopes; several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings: Fernando, Natilia, and Gloria.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 9 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Fall River, MA 02721 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Santo Christo Parish, Columbia St. Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday, November 16, 2020 from 5 – 8 PM.
