Antonio Jose Rego, 62, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at St. Anne’s Hospital, in Fall River.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Antonio do Rego Peixoto and Maria Gloria Cabral.
Antonio had a deep love for music and community. He proudly played the snare drum and cymbals for 36 years as a cherished member of the Saint Cecilia Philharmonic Band Club. Antonio's love for people was equally strong; he spent countless hours at the club, sharing laughter and telling jokes with his friends, always brightening the room with his infectious sense of humor. His warm spirit and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his brothers Paulo Rego and Emanuel Rego, both of Fall River, and Luis Rego, of London, England; his nieces and nephews Michael, Melanie, Alexis, and Dominic.
