Antonio P. Cabral, 78, of 495 Marvel St., Swansea, a retired boat builder, died Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Aida (Barbosa) Cabral.
Born in Vila Nordeste, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel and Irondina (Pacheco) Cabral; he emigrated to this country in 1979. Mr. Cabral worked as a boat builder for 12 years at TPI in Warren.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Luisa Costa (husband Francisco) of St. Michael, Azores and Kellyann Victorino (husband Hermano Victorino, Jr.) of Fall River; two sons, Jorge Cabral (wife Esmeralda) of Swansea and Paulo Cabral (wife EveMarie) of Dighton; two brothers, Manuel Pacheco and Jose Pacheco, both of the Azores; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Carlos Pacheco.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:45 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Dominic Church, Swansea. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Somerset. Visitation morning of service 8:30-10:15 a.m.
