Antone Raposa, Jr.

Antone Raposa Jr., 74, of 666 State Rd., Westport, MA, a retired textile worker, died Wednesday at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late Antone and Maria A. (Souza) Rapoza; he lived in Westport for most of his life. Mr. Raposa worked in R&D for over 40 years at the former Quaker Fabric Corp. He was an avid fisherman and belonged to the Fall River Anglers Fishing Club.

He is survived by two daughters, Crystal A. Sicard (husband Brian) of Fall River and Jennifer K. Zembo (husband Thatcher) of Westport; a sister, Dolorers Dias (husband Lenny) of Fall River; two grandchildren, Kimberly Flynn (husband Kevin) of Fall River and Amanda Moniz (husband Justin) of Fall River; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lorraine Larrivee.
