Amorim S. Medeiros

FALL RIVER… Amorim S. Medeiros, 75, of Fall River, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Morton Hospital, in Taunton.

Born in Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Jose and Isabel (Sousa) Medeiros.

Prior to retiring, Mr. Medeiros was employed as a landscaper for many years. He was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church.

He is survived by his children: Kevin M. Medeiros, Brian J. Medeiros, and Joanne J. Medeiros, all of Fall River; his brothers: Alfonso Medeiros, of Fall River, Joao Medeiros, of Somerset, Dimas Medeiros, of Fall River, and Bento Medeiros, of Dighton; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, Ollie Medeiros, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Maria Luisa Botelho, Jose Medeiros, and Duarte Medeiros.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, November 29, 2021, at 9 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Fall River, MA 02721, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Santo Christo Parish, Columbia St., Fall River. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Sunday, from 5 – 8 PM.
