Alice Sikora

Private funeral services were held for Alice (Pappas) Sikora, 85, of Westport, who passed away on Friday, June 6th at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Stanley J. "Tanna" Sikora.

Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late James R. and Mary (Souza) Pappas; she lived in Westport since 1969. Mrs. Sikora was a retired coordinator from Southeastern Mass Home Health Aides. She previously worked for many years as a presser at the former Needlecraft Mfg. She was a member of the former International Ladies Garment Workers Union, now U.N.I.T.E.

She is survived by two sons, Stanley J. Sikora, Jr. of Fall River and Stephen W. Sikora of Naples, FL; a sister, Mary D'Amico of Tiverton, RI; two grandchildren, Stephen Sikora Freitas and Nicholas Sikora Freitas; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late James Pappas, Edward Pappas, Joseph Pappas and Antone Pappas.

Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to The Dominican Sisters, of the Presentation, 3012 Elm St., Dighton, MA 02715. Arrangements were by the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St.
