Alice (Motta) Oliveira

FALL RIVER... Alice (Motta) Oliveira, 93, of Fall River passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Fall River Health Care.

She was the widow of the late Joseph Oliveira.

Born in Fall River, Alice was the daughter of the late Manuel C. and Mary (Ferreira) Motta.

Mrs. Oliveira had been employed as a folder at Schneierson Manufacturing Co., for many years, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed puzzle books and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Wayne Oliveira, of Florida, her grandchildren Ryan, Sharon, Matthew and Robert; her great-grandchildren Aluara, Tyler, Brandon, and Joseph; several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul and Robert Oliveira, and sister of the late Edmond Motta.

Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at 10:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St, Fall River, MA 02724. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 9 – 10:30 AM, prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
