Alice Jane Moreira

NEW HAMPSHIRE - Alice Jane (Linhares) Moreira, 90, of Hopkinton, NH, formerly of Montgomery St., Tiverton, RI; died Monday, Sept. 4th at Concord Regional VNA Hospice House in Concord. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Moreira.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Carvalho) Linhares; she lived in Tiverton for many years before moving to New Hampshire in 2010 after the passing of her late husband after almost 65 years of marriage. Mrs. Moreira was a homemaker and also worked as a seamstress in the local garment industry. She was a communicant of St. Theresa Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Carole A. Kenney and her husband Randy of Hopkinton, NH; a brother, Richard Linhares of Fall River; three grandchildren, Andrea Kenney, Graham Kenney and Matthew Kenny; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Celia Carvalho, Lillian McDonald and Manuel Linhares, Jr.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, September 12th at 8:45 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Stafford Rd., Tiverton.
