Alfred W. St. Laurent

Alfred W. St. Laurent, 83, of Tiverton, died Sunday at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy (Cabral) St. Laurent.

Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late Henry O. and Rosanna (Supranant) St. Laurent; he resided in Tiverton for the past 38 years. Mr. St. Laurent served in the United States Army. He was past president of the Ponta Delgada Club. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed fishing and golfing.

Prior to his retirement, he worked as a foreman for GTE Sylvania for 20 years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Maria G. Lord (Husband Wayne) of Somerset; MA; two sons, Paul G. St. Laurent (Wife Debra) of Fall River and Ronald D. St. Laurent of Tiverton, RI; two sisters, Beatrice Mello of Gambrills, MD and Claire King of Tiverton, RI; a brother, Roger St. Laurent of Williamsburg, VA; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Aimee St. Laurent.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday at 10 a.m. in the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St. Interment in Pocasset Hill Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 6 - 8 p.m.
