Albertina Ferreira

FALL RIVER - Albertina (Souza) Ferreira, of Westport, MA, formerly of Tower St., Fall River, a homemaker, died Thursday, Dec. 22nd at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Alvaro Ferreira.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Manuel P. and Eva (Perry) Souza; she lived in Westport since 1999. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Ferreira and his wife Natalia of Westport, Barry Ferreira and his wife Debbie of Maine and Paul Ferreira and his girlfriend Diana of Tiverton, RI; four grandchildren; Michael Ferreira, Jr. and his wife Sue, Erica Pereira and her husband Antone, Jennifer Chaves and her husband Derek and Brian Martins and his wife Stephanie; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward P. Souza, Alfred P. Souza and Manuel Souza, Jr.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, December 27th at 8:45 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Sanford Rd., Westport. Committal prayers and interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Monday evening 5-8 p.m.
